Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem
Schubert Fantasy in F minor

Bath Cantata Group launches their 2019-20 Season with one of the greatest
masterpieces of the Romantic era: Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem.
Unlike the traditional Missa pro defunctis, Brahms' Requiem is a setting of
seven beautiful passages from scripture that he chose himself in order to
communicate a positive and optimistic message of consolation, hope and joy
to come.
Joining Bath Cantata Group for this will be Julia O'Connor soprano and
Timothy Dickinson baritone. Jacquelyn Bevan and Will Ashworth will
accompany on piano and will also play Schubert's exquisite Fantasy in F
minor. Directed by Neil Moore this concert guarantees a wonderful evening.
