Choral Workshop 2015 - Haydn's Nelson Mass
Bath Cantata Group's Choral Workshop this year looked at Haydn's Nelson Mass as well as Vaughan Williams' Te Deum in G. Over 60 singers, consisting of many external BCG folk, turned up on a wet morning to a nicely heated St Mary's Church in Bathwick. While the Haydn was familiar to many the Vaughan Williams was a new to most, if not all.
Towards the end of the day we were joined by four soloists to fill the gaps in the Haydn - Julia O'Connor soprano, Gill Clark mezzo-soprano, Rupert Bevan tenor and Craig Bissex bass. Nicholas Stuart dazzled everyone on the organ throughout the day.
There were tea breaks during the day in which we could sample some delicious freshly baked cakes as well as get to chat to new faces.

Diamond Jubilee Concert 28 Nov 2016
Since 1955, Bath's longest-running chamber choir has been providing its city and the surrounding area with regular concerts. Early collaborations saw global stars such as Dame Janet Baker, Sir Yehudi Menuhin & Sir Michael Tippett perform and direct concerts.
The concert saw founder, Beresford King-Smith return to celebrate this great milestone in our history.
